Nice to meet you, too.
I'm back to my "office" (home) at Las Palmas, it's good to be connected with the world again! I'm www addicted!
I've been 3 weeks working hard in France & I started some interesting projects... I hope I'll get confirmation soon, so I could share the good news with you my friends.
If you come to spain tell us, it's allways better travelling to meet some local friends ;)
Take care
Did you finally go to london?
I'm still in the mountains with no internet connection, but I'll be back home next week end, so I'll tell you more.
Take care & thanks for being active on the network, please feel free to make this place yours when I'm offline.
Stef
My friend, I live in Canary Islands, so unfortunately I know the migration disaster very well. Here at the south door of Europe we can see african boat people risking their life everyday, in order to reach a better future, for themselves & for their family. I can understand them, of course, but I also think this is the worst desease for Africa: loosing her brains, arms & hope... All this situation makes me sick & pissed off, so I decided to act at my scale creating this network & studying the new possibilities of the World Wide Web, looking for some transparency & eficience in international cooperation.
Here is how it should work: "Social Networking in Plain English", by Commoncraft.
Please feel free to promote your country, your favorite places, NGOs, or any information you think of interest to help us building a better Africa. Ok?
Take care & please keep in contact.
Stef
Thanks for your contacts details, I'll try to make good use of it, but for your private information like phone number and email, I suggest you use the private message option: "Enviar un mensaje" just under the profile picture.
Internet is tricky sometimes, so if you write your phone number anywhere, someday you'll start to receive spams & bulk SMS on your phone...
Anyway, I think you could be interested in joining those groups:
- We speak english
- African Ecotourism
& please feel free to open a "Wolof" or "Arabic" group here if you feel like (upload your photo first: more visibility for you)
Have great week & please keep in contact, maybe we can chat through MSN one day, I'll add your contact.
Stef
(do you speak french? I do, easier than english for me)
I'm glad to know that you work with tourism in Senegal, because tourism is my speciality & in my opinion the most powerful tool against poverty in rural areas.
If you have 5 mn, I think it would be great if you could open a "Senegambia" group here, or something like this (click "Grupos" & "Add a group", & follow the instructions), in order to promote your work, share honest tourist information & get a specific visibility for you, as the "Senegambia" specialist...
Have a great week, please keep in contact.
Stef
