I am an entrepreneur and development consultant, advocate for advancing women economic empowerment. My organization,World Women Trade Fair advances economic opportunities for women in the handicrafts industry living in developing countries by assiting them to access global markets for their products and to also train them in the production of products that meet world market standards reflecting their cultural heritage. I am interested in joining forces with similar partners working in Africa-Tourism&Handicrafts are tied together and these industries have a great potential to reduce the cycle of poverty, create new jobs and build a sustainable economy .

Hi Stef,
Thanks for your warm and kind note and information. Certainly I will love to have your African Women contacts, this is why networking is a valuable asset.ICTs have made communication easier, but their are many more people living in Africa who still do not have access to the resources and information that they need .In addtion, we do have a program for Central and S.America and my associate Cristina is from Spain and very passionate about the region. I'm glad to see you here, your organization World Women Trade Fair is very interesting & 100% compatible with Conectafrica, wich is whilling to put people like you in touch with local associations.
