hello one and all...I have been absent for quite a while while rebuilding our house lost in Hurricane Ike in south Texas in late Sept...but we are now back in house and network is again working..so we are now back online..can always catch us on Skype...we are "wellnessqb"...

Ok, now I'm starting to see where you go master... I didn't investigate Orkut for the moment, maybe it's time, let's do it together & share experience, ok?

Since this conversation is getting quite technical & Open Social focused, I suggest we moove to a new discussion in the group IT & Social Media, ok boss?

Thanks for sharing my friend, I think your are pointing a crucial aspect of future networked organizations, let's investigate how.

truth is what he's not really a good speaker.. And I'm not sure to understans what is really OpenSocial.

In this slideshow, he first reminds us the growing of abstraction in the Web from mail to 2.0
Then he present the OpenSocial project what google supports, usable in the goole tooling like Orkut , which offers 4 APIs that compose Open Social:
Context (ex. personal details)
Data persistence (ex.friend links)
Activity lists (ex. remote blogs activities)
Messaging (ex. exchanging with friends)

Orkut is one another new tool of google, more or less with the same features facebook has, maybe offering more openness within its APIs...

The OpenSociale project seems very large... and we have to explore it.

Did any one has already had a look on this project ?
