De Jornadas Agua y Desarrollo Sostenible Africa

20-21 de Diciembre, Casa Africa, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Jornadas organizadas conjuntamente por el Departamento de Economía Aplicada y la Cátedra UNESCO de Planificación Turística y Desarrollo Sostenible de la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, con la cofinanciación de la Dirección General de Políticas de Desarrollo del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores y Cooperación y la colaboración de Casa África.

Han sido dos jornadas interesantes, personalmente aprendí muchas cosas acerca de la problemática del agua en África, que resulta ser tan complicada como diversificada y VITAL... En efecto, las ponencias a la cuales he podido asistir me permitieron constatar la importancia de la gestión del agua sobre el bienestar y la salud, obviamente, pero también sobre: la agricultura, la economía, las migraciones, el medio ambiente, la gestión de los recursos (territorio, $$...), sobre el concepto de desarrollo en general.

Resaltan las grandes diferencias entre las problemáticas de los países donde escasa el agua y que tienden a desertificarse, y los países donde sobra agua y sufren inundaciones, enfermedades (malaria). Apunté en mi cuaderno los términos "Refugiado Climático" y "Agua Virtual".

Oye, creo que tienes más información sobre el asunto en tu armario y quiero saber más (sobre los indicadores ¿cómo los manejas y los jerarquizas?, sobre el procesamiento de datos, etc.), entonces cuando puedas, si puedes abrir un grupo tipo "Agua y Vida" o "Ingeniería del Desarrollo" o lo que te parezca, sería a la vez una plataforma y un punto de información, iniciado por tí (te da una visibilidad específica en cabeza del grupo, para que la gente interesada en el asunto te conozca).

Thanks for your interest my friend...
The translator widget is great, but it shows some problems when you have different languages on the same page, like it use to be here on Conectafrica...
So I'm actually thinking about switching the hole site in english (or french?), & put the translator in evidence on the top left of the page.
